Lucy Parrott was born and raised in McDonald, TN. Lucy and her late husband, James Parrott, lived in Maryland for 45 years where they owned and operated their own restaurant after Jim’s retirement from the Navy. She was a member of the OES where she served as the Grand Representative to Washington, DC. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 194 Ladies Auxiliary in Rising Sun, Maryland and most recently a member of Tansi Community Church.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, James Henry Parrott; daughter, Deborah Grafton; parents, John and Estell Johns; and sister, Janis Davis.
Surviving are her daughters, Zandra (Mike) Shmel and Cynthia Carroll; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Erlene (Don) Knutty and Jean Hayes; brother, Dale (Yvonne) Johns and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 Noon EST on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will follow at 1 PM at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
