She was the daughter of the late Rev. John Walter Grapatin and Alice Elizabeth Grapatin and was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Elaine Grapatin.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Gorman, of Ooltewah, TN, two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and wife Shannon Gorman, Robert Gorman, granddaughter, Veronica Gorman, all of Huntsville, AL, and sister, Sarah Grapatin, of Ooltewah, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2011, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Seaton officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
