David A. Brown

David A. Brown, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016. He was born on Still House Hollow in Dillard, GA on June 5, 1934 to the late W.R. and Elizabeth Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Brown.

Survivors include his son, David (Stacie) Brown, Austin and Leanna Brown; daughter, Sabra (Buell) Henderson, Cory and Billy; brother Bill Brown and sister Kathleen Efrid.

He was a graduate of Rabun Gap Nacoochee and Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.

He was a member of the Brainerd United Methodist Church and the McFerrin Sunday School Class. He was a Mason for 50 years.

It has been good. Thanks to my church friends, my friends at work and my Bridge friends, and a special thanks to Liz.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37411.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Brainerd United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Flaugher and the Rev Charles Efird officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday before the service at the Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37411.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
