He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret W. Moore.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired foreman for Gilman Paint Co.
He was a member of New City Fellowship Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Ann Moore, three grandchildren, Michele Pierce, Kevin and Tracy Moore, all of Chattanooga.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Jim Fickley officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
