Brenda Sue Pittman

Brenda passed into the Heavenly hereafter on Wednesday, March 3rd 2020. A lifelong resident of the Middle Valley community of Hixson. She was retired from Golden Gallon where she served as a manager for various locations for 30 with a specialty in loss prevention and problem stores.

Brenda was an avid seamstress, much like her mother Frances, and could reproduce anything you may buy off the rack even better. She loved doing crafts. Producing beautiful ceramics that many family members still treasure to this day. She was always ready to take on a new hobby, especially one that she could include her grand-babies in. She could make a mean cheesecake and some of the most delicious jellies and jams you’ve ever tasted. Brenda had the uncanny ability to give you tough advice but do so with a loving tone. At 4’10 she was a tiny fireball. Full of advice, laughs and love. She made her presence known and you were happy to be in her circle.

She now joins, in Heaven, her mother Frances, her husband Wayne and brothers Frank and Mark.

She leaves to treasure her memory, daughter Stephanie (Todd) Maynor of Signal Mtn. son Darrel (Ashton) Pittman of Birchwood. Her treasured grandkids Hannah and Matthew Maynor and Lana and Levi Pittman. Her good friend Ellen Headrick and sister in law Nancy Pittman. Her fur babies Sassy and Coco. Several nieces and nephews and some great neighbors from Valley Lane, her home for the past 29 years.

As her son in law it is my honor to write this tribute to her. I know she would want me to leave this message for all. Don’t smoke.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 1-5 pm at the funeral home

Funeral service will be conducted at 5 pm, on Sunday, in the funeral home chapel.
