Billy Ray Shelton, age 76, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at a local hospital. He was born on December 13, 1942 in Tracy City, TN to the late Harold and Nellie Shelton. Billy was one of nine children, and was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Burna Deane Shelton, and a brother, William Shelton.
Billy was survived by his daughters, Michelle Neeley and Samantha Shelton, sister, Ruth, and brothers, Buster, Raymond, David, Jerry, Bobby and Johnny, grandchildren, Brittany Shelton and Gage Landers, great-granddaughter Arianna Shelton, many nieces, nephews, cousins, in- laws and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
