Barbara Hawkins

Barbara Hawkins, 82, of Ooltewah, passed away Sunday morning, July 30, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of East Ridge before moving to Ooltewah, and was a member of the Ooltewah Order of the Eastern Star #365, Ooltewah Chapter. Barbara was retired from Continental Films and was of the Baptist faith.

She was the daughter of the late William “Dub” and Mary Frances Davenport and was the wife of the late Jack Hawkins, She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Hawkins Moreland and a brother, Jackie Davenport.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Mike (Mary) Hawkins, Ooltewah and Rick (LaShawn) Hawkins, Lookout Valley; five grandchildren, Christian Nichols, Steven Hawkins, Jeffrey Hawkins, Justin Hawkins and Brandon Hawkins; five great-grandchildren; brother, William “Bill” Davenport; sister, Nancy Ebert both of Ooltewah.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakewood Memory Gardens East in the Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Killian officiating.
