Lavinia Ann Clark Durham – 57, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2014, at a local health care facility.
She loved writing her poems, doing crossword puzzles and playing with her dogs.
She was a former member of Central Baptist Church, Woodmoore.
She was a graduate of Tyner High School and had attended Chattanooga State.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Della McDaniel Clark and brother-in-law, James Lewis.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her father , Haskell M. Clark, of Chattanooga, three sisters, Penny Johnson, of Atlanta, GA, Jean Lewis, of Chattanooga, TN, Gail Goodman, of Swansboro, NC, nieces and nephews, Chris Johnson, Shannon Edmondson, Amy Stanley, Caitlin Goodman, and several great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m., Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
