Born in Falmouth, MA in 1949, he was adopted by Charles R. Pickard and Jean C. (Brent) Pickard. As a youth he worked alongside his father in the family commercial lobster business. After graduating from Chatham High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. While stationed in South Korea, Terry met and married his wife of 43 years, Sun tok (Lim) Pickard. After completing his service, Terry and Sun moved back to Chatham to resume work with his father and ultimately, take over the family business. He captained his own boat for more than 30 years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife, two children, Angela and Brent both of Chatham, Massachusetts, sister, Wendy Njenga of Dennis, Massachusetts, and granddaughter, Audrey.
Family and friends are welcome to his Celebration of Life on November 14th at the Chatham VFW from 4-8pm.
