On Dec. 19, 2014 our family said a final farewell to our mother, Ruth Bonner Sullivan, age 93. We hope that we made her end as comfortable and as peaceful as possible. Ruth worked to the age of 81, as an executive for Office Services in Wellesley, Ma., previously as an executive for A.L.A from 1964 - 1989. She was born in Brighton, Ma. to Charles and Frances Bonner, where she was in the first class of Our Lady of the Presentation Grammar School. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Walter F. Sullivan as well as a son David Sullivan. She is survived by: Roger F. Sullivan, Chatham, Ma., Kevin M. Sullivan, Redondo Beach, Ca., Christine Sullivan Daly and her husband Charles U. Daly of Chatham, Ma., 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Ruth spent her retired years in Venice, Fl. and her home on Oyster Pond in Chatham. Our family will always be grateful to the loving and caring staff at the Victorian of Broad Reach in Chatham. All who knew Ruth Sullivan watched in admiration as she ferociously fought the infirmities of old age always maintaining a gracious and beautiful dignity.
Burial will be private at the Bourne National Cemetery.
A celebration of her life and a memorial Mass will be held in the Spring. For online condolences, please visit www.nickersonfunerals.com
