Anne was the loving wife of Carl J. Vets, the beloved mother of Barbara Brown-Street and her husband Fred Street of East Harwich, Nancy Brown and her husband George Koslosky of Concord, Paula and her husband Robert DiCrosta of Rupert, VT and Margot Brown and her husband Michael Morrison of Coral Township, IL. , proud grandmother of Gregory, Paul and Nicholas DiCrosta, and cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews from the Lally, Oliverio, Egan and Murphy families.
Anne married Paul Brown and they lived in Winchester where they raised their four daughters. In later years Anne joined the workforce and became a personnel consultant, and ultimately, the owner of Capital Personnel in Cambridge. After the death of her husband, Paul, Anne retired to Cape Cod, where she later met and married Carl Vets. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and the Chatham Women's Club. She and her husband Carl enjoyed picking apples in Maine, shell fishing together, building a home in North Chatham and spending time with family. Anne's presence brought happiness to all who knew her. She will be missed.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 2, at Nickerson Funeral Home, 87 Crowell Rd., Chatham from 8:30a to 9:30a, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Orleans at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in People’s Cemetery, Chatham.
