Tom was born March 3, 1976, in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Thomas and Vicky Beery Burrell. He married Melissa Southard on May 22, 1998, in Springfield, IL.
Tom graduated from Auburn High School in 1994 and was employed for 25 years in the golfing industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family. Tom also enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Chicago Bears, Illini, and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; mother and father in-law; and one brother-in-law.
Tom is survived by his wife, Melissa Burrell of Edinburg; daughters, Kayla (Jon) Burrell-Clark of Edinburg, Tabitha Burrell of Auburn, and Olivia (Tommy Howie) Burrell of Champaign; grandchildren, Addison, Aria, Hadley, Jenaveve, and Harper; mother, Vicky (Rick) Burrell; father, Tom (Karen) Burrell; two sisters; one brother; five brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home-Chatham, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham, IL.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following the visitation.
