She was born on September 22, 1953, the daughter of Wendell Syson and Linda Clark. On June 23, 1973, she married Thomas Edward Reavis.
Margaret graduated from Glenwood High School in Chatham. She retired from the Illinois State Board of Education as an Administrative Assistant. Margaret was an avid reader and loved to quilt, go camping, bake, and spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell.
Margaret is survived by husband, Thomas Reavis; sons, Matthew (Kerry) of Springfield and Drew (fiancé, Tricia) of Auburn; her mother, Linda Clark of Springfield; sister, Sandra Wolske of Chatham; aunt, Gloria Dodge of Springfield; two grandchildren, Zachary and Paige Reavis of Springfield; and several special nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home- Chatham, 8855 State Rt. 4, Chatham. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Gilley officiating.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
