Obituary of Nicole "Nikki" E. Palmer
Nicole (Nikki) Elizabeth Aldridge Palmer, 32 years old, of Dillwyn, Va, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January, 31, 2019. Nikki was the daughter of Barry K. Aldridge, and Angela Renee Shifflett, both of Fluvanna county. Nikki was preceeded in death by two grandfathers, Carroll L. Shifflett Sr., and Fred Everette Breeden, Jr. Nikki is survived by her children Alex and Jackson Palmer and their father Shannon M. Palmer of Dillwyn; her father, Barry Aldridge and his wife Belinda, Her mother, Renee Shifflett, three sisters: Macy Cash, Morgan Brooks and Kimberly Bishop; Two Grandmothers Corrie Lee Breeden, and Carol D. Aldridge, and one grandfather Billy Aldridge, her aunt Dorothy Shiflett and Uncle Gene, her aunt Lori Robey and Donny , her uncle Carl "Coconut" Jarrell, and by many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and her very best friend Ashley Barber. Nikki graduated from Fluvanna County high school and was employed by Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital. Nikki was taking classes working toward the goal of being a nurse. She had a huge heart and loved taking care of people. She had a bubbly personality that lit up the room. She was beautiful and funny and had a beautiful voice and sang all the time. The loves of her life were Alex and Jackson and her world revolved around them. She loved with her whole heart and was a special mother, daughter and friend. She is loved by so many and will be missed so much. The family will receive friends and family at the Teague Funeral Home Monday, February 4th from 6pm to 8pm, and the funeral will be in the Teague Chapel at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 5th. Followed by interment at Holly Memorial Gardens. The service will be officiated by Dave Vogt, to whom the family would like to give many thanks for his love and support. Pallbearers will be Carl Jarrell, Donny Robey, Gene Shiflett, Clay Rittenhouse, Troy Rittenhouse, and Adam Garrison. The family would like to thank Crystal and Roy Shifflett for their special gift.
