Matthew Jerome Short of Charlottesville, VA passed away peacefully on November 11, 2016. A graduate of Radford University, he is survived by his daughter, Kassidy Short; father, Donald T. Short, Sr.; mother, Patricia Short; brothers, Donald T. Short, Jr., William Short, and Edward Short; and sisters, Teresa Milano and Laura Staton. Matthew will also be sorely missed by three nephews, five nieces, two great-nephews, 7 great-nieces, and friends too numerous to count.
A celebration of his life will be held at Teague Funeral Service, 2260 Ivy Road in Charlottesville, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 6 p.m. All extended family and friends are welcome. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.teaguefuneralhome.com.
