Mary Inez Roberts

Mary Inez Riddell Roberts 83, of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away on October 10, 2022. She was born August 8, 1939, in Albemarle County, Virginia to the late John William Riddell and Ruth Gunter Riddell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Roberts; siblings, Betty Boston, Grace Lee, and Richard Riddell. Mary is survived by her daughter, Sandra Rodwell, her husband Stephen, son Larry Roberts, his wife Sara, and two grandsons, Bradley Shavis, and Hunter Roberts; her brothers, John Riddell and Robert Riddell, and sister Linda Olinger. Mary was a social butterfly who was always up on the happenings at Morningside of Charlottesville Assisted Living. She loved playing BINGO and enjoyed sweets of all kinds. She was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church. The family is grateful for the excellent care she received from the staff at Morningside of Charlottesville, Well Family Medicine, and Hospice of the Piedmont. A private graveside memorial will be held.
