Mark also had a lot of extended family members whom he loved and cherished. Mark was blessed with a wonderful mother in law Helen Counts (Jeff). Mark was blessed with Tonya’s Ninnie who he loved. He also had a very best friend, Sandy Gardner (Pam), he was his sidekick; they were inseparable. Mark had a heart of gold and will be missed by many.
Mark has been an avid member of the North Garden Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. He worked for Albemarle County Schools for 13 years as a Special Needs School Bus Driver. He also enjoyed cooking out on his grill, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends.
The Tyree family would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to the Nurses and Doctors at UVA for their kind nature and compassionate care for Mark during his illness.
