Kaiser, Lena H.
Born on 9/11/1931, Lee transitioned from this world into the kingdom of God on 1/4/21. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, in 1995. She leaves behind many beloved family members and more friends than can be counted, especially her best friend of 55 years, Betty Jane Prufer, and close friend Leon Gorman.
The following is the message she wanted to leave for everyone:
Dear loved ones,
I was introduced by my mother, as a child, to Jesus. I experienced great happiness in life, but just as we all do, other times of sorrow and distress. What I learned through all of my 89 years is that there is hope in all circumstances and that hope can be found in One name.
I was a very flawed person, but always found hope and peace in my relationship with Jesus. I cannot tell you of all my experiences, but found that in all of them that Jesus was real and not a myth, fairly tale, or even an angel. He is God incarnate.
I knew at a young age that I had to make a decision about my future and understood that neither I nor anyone else is promised tomorrow. Since you are reading this you realize my time to ride around the sun has come to an end, but I always knew that any day I was a living was the day of salvation. Jesus is the Door, the Gate, the Way, the Truth and the Life. (eternal) He is the only way to salvation and to be in the presence of God the Father..
There are many shades of grey in life, but there is one black or white, yes or no decision that awaits every person. Each person must decide for themselves if Jesus is truly God or not. He cannot be partly yes and partly not. He stated He was with such a bold claim, He either had to be or not at all. We all live eternally. There is no end to our existence after we leave this plane. The yes or no answer to a relationship with Him awaits everyone. He is Love and is awaiting patiently to give you His inheritance. Please remember that the only time you are guaranteed is the moment you are currently living. Life is a whisper; a breath and then it is over.
I will see some of you again, but hope to see all of you again. Jesus is indeed Lord. I know this because I am in His arms at this moment asking Him to watch over and bless each of you all the days of your life.
Until we meet again..with all of my love,
Lee
P.S. Please listen to S.M. Lockridge's sermon "That's My King" and watch the video "Father's Love Letter" each in their extended versions. I hope you will be blessed by them.
The family will hold a private burial, but when COVID relents, there will be a celebration of life service and all will be invited.
Lee wanted to let you know, that in lieu of flowers, please, if so inclined, make a donation to AHIP on 2127 Berkmar Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901. Your gift will bless a family in need and change lives beyond what can be imagined.
