Elizabeth G Miller

Elizabeth Wade Miller died at the Charlottesville Health and Rehab Center Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the age of 79. She was born in Battesville, VA on July 23, 1936 to the late Normon J. Robinson and Dora Dean Robinson. She is survived by her children Larry Hamilton Gibson, Frederick Neve Gibson, Faith Yvonne Coffee, and Lucy Meredith Burton; and her siblings Donald Robinson, Ronald Robinson, Joyce Pugh, and Carolyn Fisher. She will also be deeply missed by her eight grandchildren. Elizabeth graduated from Albemarle High School in 1955 and from there went back to Nursing School at the Martha Jefferson Hospital and graduated as L.P.N. in 1957. Elizabeth fully enjoyed life and her family. She spend her time sewing and canning jellies and things from the garden. She was kind hearted in nature. Every Sunday Elizabeth would wake her children up to attend church – this was important to her. We will miss Elizabeth dearly. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Ivy, VA by the Rev. Kathleen Sturgis. Interment will follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2015 at Teague Funeral Home.
