Willie "Mickie" J. Arceneaux

Born January 18, 1928 in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Willie Carvin Lomax and Myrtle Virginia Kimbro Lomax.

Mickie was a former member of Bethel Baptist Church in Charlotte.

To cherish her memory, survivors include 2 sons, Sidney D. Lee Arceneaux and Michael Arceneaux and his wife, Kim; a daughter, Lisa Blount; 9 grandchildren, Clint, Dallas, Kaylynn and her husband, Eric Brigman, Ashlie, Nathan, Nichole, Wesley, Brandon and Braelyn ; great grandchildren, Brian, Aiden and Annalei Brigman and 7 other great grandchildren and cousins, Betty Allen and Gaynelle Doster.

Mickie was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Arceneaux and a daughter, Venisa Arceneaux Kerrick and a sister, Linda Oakley.

Services are planned for 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle road, Charlotte, NC 28212 where friends may visit with the family from 1 to 2 PM.

Committal services and burial will take place at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
