Terri Lynn Thornton

Miss Thornton, age 50, of Charlotte, died Friday, July 29, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital - Matthews. Born September 27, 1960 in Charlotte, she was the daughter of Lynn Beaver Thornton and the late Archie Thomas Thornton. Miss Thornton earned an Associate Degree in Business from Central Piedmont Community College. She was a Credit Buyer for Honda Finance.

The service to celebrate the life of Terri Lynn Thornton will be held 11:00AM Monday, August 1, 2011 at Newell Baptist Church with Reverend Christopher Hilliard officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include her partner, Sharon White, of the home; mother, Lynn Beaver Thornton, of Spencer; brother, Tony Thornton and his wife, Ginger, of Concord; two nieces, Destiny and Tara; two nephews, Robert and Wyatt; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, Miss Thornton was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Memorials may be made to Newell Baptist Church.
