Steven L. Allen

Steve graduated in 1971 from Premontre High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He owned Allen's Pub for many years in Green Bay before beginning his career with US Airways, which brought him to Charlotte, NC 32 years ago. He eventually retired in 2008 from the airline. He enjoyed his work and he was also an avid Packers fan, regularly watching the game every time they played. However, he loved his family most of all and was always interested in them doing the best they could. His positive attitude and friendly spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Danny Allen, David Allen, and Ronald Allen; his sister, Laurie Bins; his father and mother-in-law, Hil and Holly Delforge; and his sister-in-law, Jean Blankenship.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Patti Allen; his son, Andrew "Andy" Allen (Yvonne); his granddaughter, Ella Allen; his brothers, Gary Allen (Sue) and Don Allen (Julie); his sisters-in-law, Kathy Groth (Jerry), Nancy Kahr (Joe), and Janet Barrett (Glen); and his brothers-in-law, Larry Delforge (Bonnie) and Robert Delforge (Abby); and many other loving extended family members.

Services will be held privately at a later date.
