Charlotte, NC-Ryan, age 13, of Concord, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Levine Children’s Hospital. Born August 28, 2001 in Concord, he was the son of Thomas G. Beckett and Lisa Burdette Beckett. Ryan was an eighth-grade student at Harold Winkler Middle School. He was a member of Columbian Squires Circle # 5322 and was a train enthusiast.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 3rd, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Fr. Patrick Winslow, Celebrant. Following the Mass, Ryan will be laid to rest in the church columbarium. Visitation begins at 9:30 AM in Aquinas Hall.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Justin; grandparents, George J. and Eileen R. Beckett and Herman C. and Sandra I. Burdette; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
