Ruby Sizemore McClellan

Ruby worked for Ivey’s Department Store for 45 years and was member of First Baptist Church of Charlotte for over 60 years. She had an extreme love for gardening and birds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Jesse R. McClellan Jr.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her daughter Sue Powell; grandchildren Mia Harmon and her husband Mark and Amy Powell Jamieson as well as her great grandchildren Molly Sue Harmon and Jesse McIntyre Harmon all from Charlotte and a brother Fred M. Sizemore of Winston Salem.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park. A private graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to White Oak Manor Activities Department 4009 Craig Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28211 or to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 1420 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.

McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park is serving the McClellan family.
