I know God had his reasons for taking you but as your mother I can not understand why!!! Barret was such a fine young man and a credit to all the family and friends who's lives he touched. What a gentleman and kind person he was. His ambition to be a nurse,a caregiver to others speaks volumes about his character.I can't imagine the loss but I do know he was loved and will always be remembered as a wonderful son and friend. Butch you have always remained my brother and I love you for that. Words cant express my sorrow for you and your families loss.

Yesterday the new song by Lady Antebellum came on the radio, and I couldn't stop the tears. You were not only my first real boyfriend, but also one of the most caring and understanding people I have ever met. I will never forget that summer, and I wish we had been better about taking pictures and preserving memories. I never thought anything could be worse than when you left for college that fall, but a week ago I was proved wrong. Heaven got a little brighter, but as the song says, for me you'll always be 18 and beautiful and dancing away with my heart.

To Barret's parents, my daughter Anna Luckadoo went to school with Barret. We only learned tonight of his passing. I cannot adequately express to you how very sorry I am. I remember what a cute, sweet boy Barret was and from what I've read, what a warm, bright, talented young man he'd become. I know the loss is overwhelming. It doesn't make sense but I have to believe at times like this that there is perfect purpose in all things and one day we will be reunited with our loved ones. Until that time, I pray that God gives you peace and strength.

Barret was one of the greatest men I ever knew. He always knew how to make me smile. Ill miss so many things about him. He was so talented and ill never forget hearing his gorgeous voice as he sang and played his guitar. He will never be forgotten and i am so glad to see that he really had touched so many lives. I use to never be able to imagine my life without you and now i have to slowly get use to you not being around or me ever being able to hear your voice again. I have such fond memories of Barret from his middle school years. He brought a smile in the door every day. Barret was the nicest and happiest friend that I had. Though I have Only knew him two years it was pretty obvious to see from the first time we met that he would be a loyal,trustworthy friend thatd do anything for anyone...which he was.Im so thankful that Seth Roberts introduced me to Barret because good friends are so hard to come by these days. Barret and I shared laughs every time we hung out. 

I know that this is such a hard time for the Lynch family, as it is for all of us who were friends and family of Barrets..but God does work in mysterious ways and he has a plan for Barret. He needs him up in heaven to accompany other fallen loved ones, and to also look down on all of us with guidance. He was taken way too soon and had a whole life ahead of him, but he is in a much better place now than this  world.

I was introduced to you last night by Seth on my way up to see Barret and it's very unfortunate that we met under those circumstances. You went to shake my hand but I just had to hug you. There wasn't much I could say at the time due to being so choked up and teary eyes, but I want to say that it was an honor meeting you and being able to be friends with your son. My prayers go out to you and your entire family. I also want you to know that my mother lives in California and is very involved in church and has a entire church praying for Barret and your family across the country. 

I know that last night is the first time we met, but if you or the family need anything I'll be there in the blink of an eye. I'm friends with victoria on Facebook and can also be contacted through Seth.

We are so sad about Barrett's death. Linda and Tammy, may God bless you in this hour of sadness and disbelief. I pray God will comfort you and give you peace.

Sending all of our love to you all!  Barret always had a way of seeing the best in any situation and spreading his love to everyone he came in contact with.  I will cherish every memory I have with you Barret. God needed a guitar player to play for his chorus of angels!!!  You will never be forgotten!!!

I only met Barret a few times but was so impressed with what a charming, kind and loving brother he was to my daughter's best friend, Vicki. Hannah has always enjoyed the times she spent with Barret and his wonderful family. My deepest sympathies to all.

I met Barret when I was working at the SkyeCroft Office. He came into the office one day..and was there to meet Jack.  I thought on that day (some 5 years ago ?) that his smile made a person feel good..just being around him. He worked at the office off and on..and everytime..I saw him..he had that smile-
After Christmas that year--he excitedly told me about Renee & Jack.  They gave him for Christmas -new windows for his car-??-or tinted his windows ??
But--Barret was so expressive about how good they were to him..and that Jack was teaching him a lot.  Barret didn't take that for granted. 
 I am so glad that God let his life touch mine.  I think..he was one of the most caring -sweet  guys and he valued family  & friends.  I heard him talk about his Aunt in Atlanta..and how he cared for his Grandma (that was sick).   
So-to Barret's family---please know how he made a difference..just ordinary work days...we shared..but his smile..and caring spirit-& hearing him laugh- I will always recall him with fondness.

I pray that the caring and love of Family & Friends will give you comfort--
and..that The Love Of God will give you Peace.

We viewed our daughter's wedding video last night from August, 2011 so that we could see that cute, polite, loving, caring (not enough adjectives to do him justice)soul that is Barret as he danced the night away. What a wonderful child. Our whole family was blessed to know him and what a joy he always was to be around. I know your heart is broken now but please take solace in the fact that you raised a wonderful son/brother/nephew and that he was loved by so many, many people. We will miss him greatly!! We love you all!! If we can do anything please let us know.

A few weeks ago when you stopped by my house for no special reason, "just because you were driving by and thought of me" is what you said. If I had known this was going to be the last time I would see you, I would have hugged you tighter and a little longer. I'm going to miss your visits, your wonderful attitude but most of all the biggest smile God has ever graced someone's face with. Thank you for being there for me in my time of sorrow over the death of my brother,and just as you said to me, I'll do the same...be there for your family if there is anything I can do. I'm gonna miss you so much.....
