A native of Charlotte, Mrs. Bishop was born to the late Clarence Leland Pasour and Lois Robinson Pasour on June 24, 1930. She was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Charlotte and retired from LabCorp after over 30 years of service. Mrs. Bishop enjoyed square dancing and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband William Clayton Bishop, Jr. in 1997 and by a son, Mark Curtis Bishop in 2014.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by her son, Robin Leland Bishop of Easley, SC, daughter, Kimberly Bishop Wall (Steven) of Charlotte, grandchildren, Sarah Forrester, Adam Bishop, Elizabeth Hobbs, Steven Clayton Wall, Erin Rebekah Wall, Crystal Bovender and six great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express thanks and appreciation to the staff of The Laurels at Highland Creek for the excellent care they provided to Mrs. Bishop while she was a resident there for the past 4 years.
