Rick John Moffett

Born October12, 1969 in Hollywood, FL, he was a son of Don and Phyllis Moffett of Key Largo, FL.

Rick was an active member of Providence Baptist Church.

A military veteran, he had served as a tanker with the US Army, was an avid San Francisco 49er’s fan, enjoyed amateur photography and had been employed as an assistant manager at Arby’s.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, whom he married May 20, 2005, MaryAnn Bujak Moffett; his son, Aaron Redden, a student at the University of Kentucky; his siblings, Barbara Strum of St. Cloud, FL and Thomas Moffett of Jacksonville, FL; two nieces and four nephews.

Memorial services are planned for 7:00 pm at Providence Baptist Church, 5315 North Carolina 49, Harrisburg, NC with Rev. John Cashwell officiating.

Friends may visit with the family at the church from 6 to 7 pm.
