Patty Crawford Farr

Patty was born on October 3, 1943 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to the late Luther and Irene Crawford. She grew up as a member of Plainview Baptist Church in Bogalusa. Her schooling also took place in Bogalusa at Pleasant Hill School, Bogalusa Junior High and Bogalusa High School where she graduated in 1961. Patty went on to achieve her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern Louisiana University, graduated in 1965.

Patty worked as an elementary school teacher at Pleasant Hill School (Bogalusa City Schools) from 1965 to 1967. She then worked for the Cobb County School System at Hollydale Elementary in Marietta, GA from 1967 to 1997 when she retired.

Many will remember Patty for her cooking, her passion for reading and especially, how much she loved her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse F. Farr of Marietta, GA, her parents, and sister, Shirley Ann Crawford Pittman of Bogalusa, LA.

Surviving Patty is her daughter, Emily (Randy) Warrington, grandchildren; Bradley Tabor, Michael (Kana) Tabor, Madison Warrington and Aubrey Warrington and sister, Connie Crawford Van Calsem (Bobby) of Pass Christian, MS.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227.

Patty will be laid to rest Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mozley Memorial Gardens, 3180 S. Sweetwater Road, Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122.
