She was born on January 2, 1949, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, to the late George and Shirley Helton. She graduated from R-S Central High School in 1967 and spent her career as a Toll Test Technician at Bellsouth. She married the love of her life, Mike, and together they had their daughter, Kelly. Nancy loved her family and welcomed any opportunity to create memories with her husband and daughter. She was overjoyed when she became a grandmother to her grandson, Wyatt.
Nancy was a caring and loving person who was known for her beautiful smile. She valued honesty and enjoyed serving others in her community. She was a proud and active member of Mint Hill Baptist Church. Nancy left an unforgettable impact on her family and her spirit will be greatly missed.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Mike Rochelle, her daughter, Kelly (Willie) Martin, grandson, Wyatt, nine brothers and sisters and extended family.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12 PM at Mint Hill Baptist Church, 7835 Matthews Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12 PM at Mint Hill Baptist Church.
