Nadene Page Bowden, 95, of Charlotte died November 12, 2014. She was born April 9, 1919 in Weakley County, TN. Nadene was a homemaker and also enjoyed working as a seamstress making drapes, bedspreads and pillows. She was a lifelong Presbyterian and upon moving to Charlotte, became a member of Steele Creek Presbyterian Church serving as a deacon, circle member and working on the Senior Care Committee.
Nadene is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Lorenzo V. Bowden, brothers, Carmi and Murphy Page and son-in-law, Rev. Lewis W. Bledsoe. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda B. Bledsoe and Wendy (David) Straub; grandchildren, Kimberly (Harry) Davenport, Kelly Bledsoe, David (Joni) Straub, Matthew (Ashlee) Straub and Cheryl Vaughn; 15 greatgrandchildren; Page and Taylor Hall; Hannah, Alex and Brett Davenport; Nicole, Noelle, Danielle, Jacob, Taylor, Ireland and Savannah Straub; Cyle and Joshua Vaughn and Zack Dow and a sister, Neva Rodriguez.
A Memorial Service will be held at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church on Monday November 17 at 11:00 am followed by a visitation in the Bledsoe Family Life Center. She will be buried next to her husband and parents, Cecil and Fleeta McClain Page in Dresden, TN at a later date.
