Ming Yu

He was born on the 24th of September, 1952 in Taiwan to the late Kuei Ling Yu and Ger Jing Ju Yu.

Ming immigrated to the United States with his brother at a young age. He attended the University of Texas – El Paso and earned his MBA from Pace University in New York. He was a Certified Public Accountant and co-owned the Frances & Ming Co. in New York before moving to Charlotte.

The Yu family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday, the 1st of July, 2021 at Forest Lawn West Funeral Services. A service to celebrate his life will follow at 11:00 AM in the Paul Helton Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Committal will be private.

Ming is survived by his beloved wife of forty years, NienKu Yu of Indian Trail, NC; his two daughters: Victoria Smith and her husband, Greg and Felicia Alba and her husband, Chris both of Charlotte, NC; a grandson, Gregory Smith and a granddaughter, Olivia Alba; one brother and two sisters: Hong Yu and his wife, Heli Yu; Luan Corrado and her husband, Steve Corrado and Janet Yu and her husband, Charles Chu.
