Michael Franklin Baker, “Pete” age 71 passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15 2017 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC. He was born June 25, 1946 in Charlotte, the son of the late Benjamin Baker and Mildred Poole Baker.
Pete graduated from Harding High School and was proud to have served his country as a Marine. He was a member of Berryhill Baptist Church, a past master of West Gate Masonic Lodge #738 and a member of the Dune Cats Club of the Oasis Temple. He worked for thirty years as a repair technician for AT&T.
He is survived by his wife, Pattie of 35 years, an aunt Josephine Smith, cousins Danny Baker and his wife Yvonne, Roxanne Phillips and Renee Poole, Judy Poole and Larry Poole.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, July 20 at 10am at Sharon Memorial Park located at 5714 Monroe Road in Charlotte.
