Max "Ray" Stewart

Ray retired after 30 plus years of employment with Armour & Company and Lay’s Foods. He enjoyed bluegrass music and sharing his guitar playing talent with family and friends.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by wife, Cecilia Stewart; brother, Ralph Stewart and sister, Mary Reeves.

He is survived by his son, Tim Stewart; granddaughter, Lauren Stewart; great-grandchildren, Hunter Johnson and Jace Johnson; sister, Bernice Wilson; brother, Joey Stewart and many very special nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church, 1117 South Boulevard, Charlotte NC, 28208. Rev. Bobby Morrow and Rev. Stan Heiser officiating. Visitation 12 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
