Mary Ann Todd

MaryAnn was born the 19th of October, 1933, in Gaston, Co, NC, the second of eleven children to the late Hubert Wallace Puckett and Deazree Lane Puckett. She was a 1951 graduate of Paw Creek High School, which was the last graduating class. She worked in administration first with Southern Bell Telephone Company and later with Porter’s Fabrication Company. MaryAnn was a former member of Moore’s Chapel United Methodist Church and was a charter member of Garden Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

The family will greet friends Monday, the 27th of November, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon in the Family Life Center of Garden Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2324 Sam Wilson Road, Charlotte, NC 28214. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 12:00 Noon. The burial will follow at Moore’s Chapel Church Cemetery. Bearing the casket of Mrs. Todd will be: Doug Underwood, Ronnie Bozart, David Primm, Adam Tinch, Trey Tinch and Eugene Dilling.

MaryAnn is survived by her five sisters: Elizabeth Primm of Dallas, NC; Susan Wells of Mt. Holly, NC; Jane Adams of Denver, NC; Betty Robinette of McAdenville, NC and Gail Krause of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: James Puckett of Charlotte, NC and William Puckett of Whisette, NC and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Todd; her son, Eddie Todd and infant daughter, Janice Ann Todd; two brothers: Richard Puckett and Robert Puckett and one sister, Joan Bowers.
