Mary R. Albertson

She graduated from Harding High School and over the years worked at Hormel, IBM, Lance, Gold Circle and Target. She also graduated from Southeastern School or Beauty and became a licensed Beautician.

In retirement she enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time at her vacation home in the mountains of Virginia.

She is survived by her daughter Pamela Howard (Lowell) and her son Kenneth Albertson (Sherrie). Grandchildren; Colby Albertson, Lindsey Woodlief (Rob) and Clay Morgan. Great grandchildren; Madilyn Woodlief, Harper Woodlief, Maddox Albertson and Ellis Albertson. She has one surviving sibling, Larry Holden (Gloria).

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Jack H. Albertson (1998) and her siblings; James Holden, Dean Holden, Lorene Ivester, Virginia McGraw, Drucilla Smiley, Myrtle Thornburg, Kate Fincher and Addie "Pat" Craig.

Our mother was a wonderful cook and loved her family to gather and enjoy her home cooked meals and time together. We will miss her always and appreciate the love, the memories and the values that she and our father gave to us. Love you mama.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:30 AM in the Charlotte Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 7632 Hood Rd., Charlotte, NC 28215.
