Martha Aycock, 91, peacefully went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. She was born to the late Walter Mull and Hattie Bell on June 1, 1928 in Shelby, NC.
Martha was involved in all aspects at Green Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the CMS school cafeteria until she reached 80 years old. She touched the hearts of many children and even the staff. Her favorite thing to do was to sing and dance. She always looked forward to any celebration to be with people and dance.
Martha was preceded in death by her first husband Scotty, second husband Bill; son Willie; grandson Michael Johnson II. She is survived by her children Cindy Scott Biggers, Suzy Scott Miller, Steve Scott, Tim Scott (Skel), Sherry Scott Johnson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be private. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced.
