Mark Anthony Parker, age 61, of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center after battling a long-term illness. He was born on May 27th, 1961 in Charlotte.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Carl Bedford Parker; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hunter of Charlotte; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Justin Parker of Lumberton.
Mark is survived by his mother, Faith Hunter Parker; his sister, Connie Rhodes Cranford (Rick); his niece, Sarah Lynn Cranford; his nephew, John Paul Sineth Jr. (Jamie); three great-nieces; two great-nephews; best friend, Alan Philemon; as well as numerous loving cousins, other family members, and friends.
Mark attended Harding High School and grew up in the Westchester neighborhood in Charlotte. He was deeply loved by his family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Monday, June 6th, 2022 at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, 4601 Freedom Drive in Charlotte. The funeral service is to be conducted at 1:00pm, immediately following the visitation, in the Paul Helton Chapel at the funeral home. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
