Margie Bradshaw Caudill

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harold Caudill; her parents, Cora and Julius Bradshaw; five brothers, Roland Bradshaw, Spicer Bradshaw, Jack Bradshaw, Luby Bradshaw, and Lawrence Bradshaw; her sister, Louise Bradshaw Pope; and her daughter by heart, Kay Scearce.

She is survived by her children, Gail Duncan (Jayson) of Pine Hall, NC, Steve Caudill (Blonnie), Mike Caudill (Heather) and Karen Cathey (Grady), all of Charlotte; eight grandchildren, Phillip Jordan (Donna), Kara Duncan, Jay Duncan (Emily), Will Cathey (Amber), Emily Cathey, Tori Caudill, Clay Caudill and Cole Caudill; seven great grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Kaitlyn Dubberly, MacKenzie Jordan, Cori McMillan, Tyler Jordan, Hannah Duncan and Elizabeth Duncan; two great great grandchildren, Ella Jae Brown and Jacklyn Dubberly; special brothers-in-law, Roger Caudill (Nita Kay) and Dale Denny; family members by heart, special friend, Edgar Peeden, granddaughter, Jodi Kines (John), and great grandchildren, Greyson Kines and Graham Kines.

Mrs. Caudill was born on March 15, 1932 in Wilson, North Carolina. She graduated from Fremont High School just a few months after marrying the love of her life, Harold Caudill, on March 14, 1951. Their 64 years of marriage were filled with love and commitment. She was a homemaker and devoted mom, and later nurtured grandchildren and other children that became family by heart.

The family extends their immense thankfulness to Wickshire Steele Creek and Hospice and Palliative Care of Charlotte Region for their loving care of our Mom.

Viewing will be at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, 4601 Freedom Drive in Charlotte. Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 pm at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church, and the family will receive friends at the Christian Fellowship Center at the church immediately following the Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Charlotte Region or Paw Creek Presbyterian Church.
