Mrs. Margaret Hearn

She was born December 17, 1925 the daughter of the late Benjamin Clarke Fincher and Clara Olivia Polk Fincher.

Margaret graduated from Matthews High School. Margaret was employed as a production Manager with Jack’s Cookie and Keebler Companies for 47 years. She was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband of 53 years, William Hearn; five brothers, John, James, Joe, Harold and Jimmy; three sisters, Kathleen, Lillie and Mary.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Hearn Clark and husband George of Iron Station, NC and Edna Hearn Cathey and husband Bill of Matthews, NC; two sons, Charles B. Hearn and Stephen P. Hearn both of Charlotte, NC; two granddaughters, Ashley N. Aubry and Carson Clark Cogdill and husband Brent; two grandsons, Scott Hyatt and wife Elizabeth and Ellick Clark; two great granddaughters, Madison Hyatt and Makenzie Aubry; two great grandsons, Tristan and Jackson Hyatt; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 4855 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28205 with the Rev. Bill Saylor officiating.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, November 28, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region, 1420 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
