A memorial service will be held at Living Saviour Lutheran Church, 6817 Carmel Rd., Charlotte, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, with reception to follow.
Malcolm is survived by his wife, The Reverend Dawn Schaeffer (nee Roberts); children, Jo (Lorian), Frances Schaeffer (Jonathan Adams), and Emily Schaeffer; stepsons, Eric Lowndes and Matthew Schneider; and siblings, Thomas (Joy), Jimmy (Debbie), and Helen (Kent) Linton. He was preceded in death by his brother, John (Laura).
