A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, Louise was a welder in the shipyard during World War II, and was a dedicated homemaker for the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, son, Joey, and daughter, Judy.
She is survived by her grandson, Joel and wife, Melanie; granddaughter, Amanda Creech and husband, Chris; and five great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm Wednesday, November 15, at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, 15000 York Road in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2:30 pm in the church sanctuary.
