Libby Helms Hale

Libby was married for 37 years to her husband Richard Hale Sr. who preceded her in death in 2007. In addition to her parents and husband, a sister Ladonna Rowell and brother-in-law Barry Rowell preceded her in death. Her sister Leslie Morgan passed away August 7, 2020.

For many years she worked in the family business; Helms Die Cutting and was a member of Jesus Christ Full Gospel Church Gibson Rd, Charlotte.

Survivors include her husband Glenn Jerman; sons Richard Hale Jr (Stephanie) and Rusty Hale; step-daughters Kelly Jerman, Carrie Mitchell (Will); step-son Justin Jerman; grandchildren Cory Hale, Caleb Hale and Zachary Hale; step-grandchildren Tucker Jerman and Tripp Mitchell and four great grandchildren and brother-in-law Charlie Morgan.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Libby Helms Hale will be held on Wednesday, August 12 2020 at 1pm at Sharon Memorial Park. Service will be conducted by Pastor James “Papa” Locklear and Rev. Ben Cline.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society (www.heart.org).

All are welcome but must wear a facemask and practice social distancing while in attendance for the safety of the community.
