pice Home. Les Ramsey was

the son of the late Cary

Deltoni Ramsey and Emma Lou

McClannahan Ramsey. He

was predeceased by his lov-

ing wife of 48 years, Violet

Wilson Ramsey, and his

sister, Mary Elizabeth

Ramsey Ball of Concord, NC.

He is survived by his daugh-

ter and son-in-law Judy &

Larry Roberts of Hillsbor-

ough, NC and daughter and

son-in-law Dot & Barry Long

of Spartanburg, SC, three

grandchildren, Derek (wife,

Amy Sites) Roberts of Hamp-

stead, NC, Ryan (wife, Katie

Triplett) Roberts of New

Bern, NC, Carrie J. Long of

Spartanburg, SC, and six

great-grandchildren, Caleb,

Nathan, Caroline, Joshua,

and Jonathan Roberts of

Hampstead, NC and Severin

Puckett of Spartanburg, SC.

Mr. Ramsey was born in Pitt-

sylvania Co., Virginia, Sept.

21, 1920. Prior to retiring from

Harris Teeter, he and Violet

owned Ramsey’s Precision

TV Sales & Service in Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Ramsey served on the European

Front in the US Army during WWII

A Celebration of Life Service will

be held at Wilson Funeral

Home, Charlotte, NC on

Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at

1:00 PM. Visitation will be

12:30 pm - 1:00 pm. In

lieu of flowers, memorials
