Born August 6, 1982 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Laura was the daughter of John and Geri Faulkner. She was a graduate of Myers Park High School. Laura lived her life with independence and confidence. A fun loving person, she had a special affection for animals. Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents, Muriel and Joseph Rogina of Canada.
In addition to her parents, Laura is survived by her grandparents, Una and Bradley Gaudaur; and two uncles, Rod Rogina and wife, Barbara, and Peter Faulkner, all of Canada; and her beloved pet, Lucy.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday, August 30, 2013, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. Her family will receive friends following the service until 9:00 P.M.
