Son of the late Jonah Dewitt Love Sr. and Earllean Mae Isaacs Oliver Love, Jonah and his twin Joe Thomas were the first set of twins born at Charlotte Memorial Hospital.
Jonah loved to bowl and swim, play pool and computer games and loved watching wrestling matches and Western movies on TV. He loved birthday parties, Christmas, shopping at Hamrick’s and just being outdoors. But most especially he loved his family, friends, dogs and cats.
Left to mourn his loss are siblings twin Joe Thomas, Lee Oliver, Lillie Mae Oliver, Ruth Hutto and Pearl Moore; the love of his life Ruby Mae Atkins and his beloved dog Bentley.
Jonah is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Lewis Oliver, Hazel Oliver Lowman, Don Oliver and Linda Oliver.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1pm at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. Burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
