John Thomas Rhodes, age 72 of Indian Trail, N.C. passed away 7/01/17. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Newton Rhodes and Oleta Johnson Rhodes and his brother James Rhodes. For most of his employment he worked in the chemical industry for over 20 years at various locations as a chemical technician.
He was affectionately known as Johnny to family and friends. Johnny had a kind heart and gentle soul, he was never one to complain. He had a jolly laughter that was contagious to all around him and he will be missed by many.
Johnny is survived by his brother and sister in-law Frankie Rhodes and Brenda Rhodes of Charlotte, North Carolina and brother Howard Rhodes of Indian Trail, North Carolina; one sister, Pearlie Eason of Indian Trail, North Carolina and nephew Tim Eason of Indian Trail, North Carolina and sister in-law Geraldine Rhodes of Charlotte, North Carolina.
