Mr. Bush, 82, of Charlotte, NC passed away January 11, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center with his daughter and son-in-law at his bedside.
He was born in Valdese, NC to the late Ida Bele and Thurmond Bush. Beside his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catherine, a brother Frank of Morganton, NC and a sister Margaret of Jacksonville, FL
Joe served in the United States Navy and was a retired truck driver.
Mr. Bush is survived by his daughter Bobbie Baucom and husband, Sam who loved, adored and cherished him and who he loved with all his heart. He is also survived by many loving family members, friends and neighbors. He was a man to be honored and his love will continue to be in our hearts.
The Bush family will greet friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2012 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon. A service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 14, 2012 from the graveside of Burke Memorial Park, Morganton, NC.
