Gerry, 95, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her home. “Mimi”, as she was affectionately called, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and bridge player. She was renowned for her wonderful coconut cakes.
Born in Raleigh, NC December 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Julius Eugene Hodge and Jesse Nona Lassiter Hodge. Gerry was a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church and joined the Order of the Eastern Star in 1949.
Her husband, Robert E. “Peck” Little, Sr., preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Bob Little and his wife, Bonny; her daughter, Nita Emory; her former son-in-law, Bob Emory; three grandchildren, Danny Little and his wife, Daphne, Maggie Little Hartlage and her husband, Bill and Elisabeth Emory and her husband, Dyfed Richards; as well as three great grandchildren, Mollie Little, Paige Little and Ffion Richards.
Mrs. Little’s family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6th at McEwen – Pineville Chapel. Interment in Sharon Memorial Park will be private.
