Jerome M. Schwartz passed away peacefully March 7, 2018 after a short illness. He was a proud WWII veteran and served as a member of the 95th Infantry Division.
Jerry was a graduate of NYU Law School, a tax accounting professor at Pace University, and partner at Schwartz and Resh law firms in NYC.
He was an avid listener of NPR, and spent his time reading The New Yorker, war and spy novels, and doing the crossword puzzle from the NY Times (not so much on Sunday).
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Schwartz. They met when he was 15 years old, and married for 68 years. He is survived by his grandson, Rory Rashkover (Jovona Porri), his daughter, Susan Sorenson (Eric Sorenson) and granddaughter, Dena Rashkover (Dave Brodie).
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his honor to Hospice, NPR or Veteran's organizations.
