Janice Holmes Bumgardner

Janice Holmes Bumgardner, 81, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully February 7, 2022 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. Born September 28, 1940 in Vici, OK, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy (Smith) Holmes. She was the wife of the late Dennis K. Bumgardner.

She retired from Watkins Motor Lines after numerous years of employment.

A true homemaker, Janice enjoyed gardening, bird watching and her dog, Vier.

Survivors include her sons, Jamie (Yvette) Triponey, Nick (Betty) King and Donald (Trina) King; grandchildren, Shannon (Mike) Massey, Chris Triponey, Kaitlin Triponey, Eric (Rosa) King and Kandice (Camron) Canning; great-grandchildrn, Hannah, Hailey, Hayden, Halen, Sophie and Maycie; great, great-grandchild, Riverleigh; brother, Richard (Claudia) Waggoner and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Ethan King; great-grandson, Brodie King and brother, James Waggoner.
